Fire & Security Technician (Greater NYC area)

We have a need for self-motivated and client oriented Technicians with strong written and verbal communication skills. The technician will provide accurate and detailed inspection reports with all proper documentation of improvements and complications. The Fire & Safety Technician duties include testing and inspection of Fire Alarm Systems with opportunities to develop working knowledge of security systems. In addition to the testing and inspection, you will be responsible for service and repair of systems.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable, high quality client support through on-site inspecting and preventative maintenance services.

Service Coordinator (Buffalo)

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily/monthly service and inspection scheduling.
  • Setup of new accounts in Service/Inspection client database, and update accounts with changes.

Staff Accountant/Contract Administration

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and/or researching information for reports.
  • Preparing the required reports on a timely basis, to include month end reporting & responsibilities.
  • Responsible for supporting team members with strategic projects.

Access Control/ Alarm Technician

Responsibilities

  • Installing/servicing low voltage security systems in a commercial environment ·
  • Terminating and installing end devices such as badge readers, motion detector, Glass breakers, mag locks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, etc.
  • Dressing and terminating security panels within an IDF room
  • Testing /troubleshooting networking issues
  • Programming access control (preferably knowledge of Honeywell, Identicard, S2 and/or CCTV systems (Exacq,Vicon and Hikvision is preferred)

Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Aides and assists the Client Support Representative (CSR) in providing quality and timely service.
  • Coordinates efforts and provides guidance to all team members to continually strive for improvements in client support and financial success.
  • Ensures positive and proactive participation with peer departments. This is essential to deliver a quality product to our valued clients.
  • Ensures timely and complete record-keeping in all assigned company information systems and manual logs.
  • Ensures on time completion of all scheduled activities, follow-ups and tasks as directed or as presented by Life Safety.
  • Ensures timely, proactive, well documented communication to management on all client situations needing senior level attention/intervention. Responds quickly to issues that do not meet client or company quality standards and ensures that appropriate action or intervention occurs.
  • Provides insights to management that are helpful in resolving ongoing or repetitive problems.
  • Recommends procedure changes that will result in better client support.
  • Takes appropriate action to ensure client support needs are met. This includes work order creation, dispatch, follow up and client financial decisions.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP DUTIES:

  • Assists as the contact for assigned clients to resolve issues, respond to client escalation requests.Communicates with Direct Supervisor to ensure they are apprised of schedules, anticipated completions, and anticipated delays of installation or schedule.
  • Work with affiliates in a way that develops and maintains a spirit of partnership while ensuring affiliate compliance is timely.

REPORTING:

  • Ensures that weekly and monthly reports are completed and distributed on schedule.
  • Monitors all required reporting to ensure the department is performing to required service levels.
  • Provides reports as required for on time reporting.
